Expo de fin d'année et portes ouvertes

 

Un vernissage très réussi en cette fin d'année à l'école Municipale des Beaux-Arts de Saint-Ouen.

Great opening for this exhibition for the end of the year of the Municipal School of Fine Art in Saint-Ouen.

 Les élus sont là, juste devant la fresque des élèves adultes.

The elected representatives are there, just in front of the watercolour fresco made by my adult students.

J'ai installé les citrouilles et les ruches ensemble sur la grande table. Les oiseaux et les gravures sur les jardins au mur. Un air d'été et les vacances qui approchent.

I installed the pumpkins and hives together on the big table. Birds and etchings on garden subject are on the wall. Summer is on the air, soon holidays.

 Je suis toujours en admiration devant le travail de mes élèves. Ces grattages sont d'une grande beauté, et les gravures sur rhénalon très réussies.

I am always filled with admiration for the work of my pupils. These scratchings are of a great beauty, and engravings on rhénalon very successful.

«Jungle rectangle»

À la manière de David Hockney dans son idée de décomposer puis recomposer

une image, chaque élève a eu un petit morceau rectangulaire d’une photo de

jungle tropicale à reproduire à l’aquarelle sur papier. L’image ainsi reconstituée

obtenue par l’interprétation de chacun, forme une unité singulière, un ensemble

mystérieux et magique.

In the style of David Hockney in his idea to decompose then to recompose an image, every pupil had a rectangular small piece of a photo of a tropical jungle to be reproduced in watercolor on paper. The image so reconstituted obtained by the interpretation of each, form a singular unity, a mysterious and magic set.
